Getting to and from Milos Airport
The airport is close to everything on the north side of the bay: Adamas and the ferry port in ten minutes, Plaka, Trypiti and the catacombs in a quarter of an hour, Pollonia at the north-east tip in 25. The catch is that Milos has only a handful of taxis and no airport bus, so the ten-minute journey needs planning in August. Most accommodation will send a car.
Taxi from Milos Airport
Milos has around a dozen taxis for the whole island. They meet the flights when they can, but one full ATR is 70 passengers, so book a taxi for your arrival time by phone or through your hotel, and book the return to the airport a day ahead in high season. Fares are fixed per destination and posted; the night tariff applies after midnight.

Bus and ferries
No bus serves the airport. The island buses start from Adamas and run to Plaka, Pollonia, Paleochori and the other beaches several times a day in summer, so a taxi to Adamas puts you on the network. From Adamas port, ferries and fast boats sail to Piraeus, Sifnos, Serifos, Kimolos, Folegandros and Santorini; the boats to Kimolos also leave from Pollonia.
