With no airport bus either, a car collected on arrival doubles as the transfer. The desks are in the terminal and the cars are parked beside it; the many local firms also deliver to hotels.

Driving from the airport

The airport road reaches the Argostoli–Lassi junction in ten minutes: left for Argostoli and, over the Ainos foothills, Sami and Agia Efimia; the coast road north for Myrtos, Assos and Fiskardo (90 minutes); the south road through Peratata for Skala and Poros. Lixouri is faster by the Argostoli ferry than around the gulf.
