Getting to and from Kasos Airport
The airport is on the flat shore just west of Fry, and most arrivals simply walk into town along the coast road with their bags. The villages of Agia Marina, Arvanitochori, Panagia and Poli are a few minutes further by taxi; there is no bus, and rooms will send someone to meet the flight if asked.
Walking and taxi
The walk to Fry takes about 15 minutes on a flat road beside the sea. The island’s two taxis meet the flights when booked; ask your accommodation to arrange one, particularly for the villages on the hill.

Ferries
From Fry, the ferry on the Piraeus–Crete–Dodecanese line calls a few times a week, reaching Karpathos in about an hour, Sitia in Crete in three to four, and Rhodes in six or more. Ferries are the only way to bring a vehicle, and in rough weather they sometimes skip Kasos, so check the day before.
