Parking at Ioannina Airport
The car park is in front of the terminal, a minute from the doors. Unlike the island airports it is a winter car park: students and residents drive in from Arta, Preveza and the mountain towns for the Athens flights, and it fills at Christmas, Easter and the August holiday. Snow is cleared but ice is not unusual in January.

The forecourt is for a brief stop. To meet a flight, use the car park’s free first 15 minutes, and in winter check the live arrivals board before leaving the house: fog on the plain delays or diverts the morning flights several times a season.
